I think you've done a great job. A couple of things I found was your images seem really big, and there is a link to something on the bottom of the home page that is cut off. The links on the side of the home page seem out of place, one just says VA Forums and is spaced far apart from the other two links. Last suggestion would be in the services, the headings of Administrative, Bookkeeping, and Special Events doesn't stand out. I would suggest a different colour font and maybe all caps.

One important lesson I learned here on VAF is that the space 'above the fold' [when someone looks at your site] is the 'most important real estate' a virtual assistant will have.

If people come to the page and don't see something right away that solves their problems, they will click away and be lost forever.

I think your images are too large and that you do not have enough informational and persuasive content 'above the fold'. Having the navigation tabs at the top of the page, as opposed to the side (valuable space) will offer extra area that can be utilized to tell someone about the benefits which your business will offer.

Take a look at some websites that you like and ask yourself why those sites are appealing. Are they easy to navigate...easy to find specific categories...does the home page give enough information which will make people want to find out more.

It is not clear to me who is your target market or if you have a niche. If you are offering bookkeeping, have the site reflect with images and text what your bookkeeping services can do to solve a potential clients' problems.

Think about putting a 'call to action' on your page. This would be a sign up box for a newsletter or a free download. Try to capture the visitor's email address in the event they do not sign up with you right away.

I like that you have your own domain. Are you hosting this some place? If so, have you considered using a Word Press template? I think this might be a good option to consider.
