I'm wondering why it is that you guys chose to be VAs with a copywriting niche as opposed to just copywriters. Is it because you feel you can get more business by branching out and offering other services as well?

For me, it's not about more business so much as not wanting to do only copywriting. As a strongly language-oriented person, I think good writing is extremely important. I emphasize it because I know how to do it and my clientele can benefit from this skill. I'm also more a writer than a numbers person. But the main thing I enjoy doing is working in partnership with the client to develop their goals, which sometimes but not always includes writing. I need variety, and get a thrill out of doing design, planning, and even databases, besides the writing jobs.
