Default Should I write my "About" page in 1st or 3rd person
I am so torn about this and can't make up my mind. I want to sound professional but it sounds weird writing about myself in the 3rd person. When I research it online, it gives you all kinds of different reasons for doing it either way. Should I just write it like it sounds and feels best to me or is there some etiquette in the VA world that I should/must follow?

Help !!!

Hi Tanja,

I think that you should do it the way you feel most comfortable. Now if you are having trouble writing you about page you should take a look at this post. Hope this helps.

I'm glad to be able to help. I am always updating my website and am still working on putting together my new about page. I had bookmarked this page for later reference and it was the first thing that came to mind.

here is another resource on how to write about yourself. I've used this before and pulled out just what I needed for my writeup. http://ezinearticles.com/?Top-10-Tip...rself&id=11518

Hi Tanja,

I would suggest that you just need to focus on your services not yourself. Focus on the things you can offer and avoid mentioning irrelevant things for the topic and make it simple and understandable to all viewers/ visitors.

Here's a link that can give you additional details in coming up with a good about us page. - Click here

Good Day !

Either way seems fine. Just be consistent throughout.
