Default President or Owner - What Title Do You Give Yourself in Your 'About Us' Web Page?
I'm putting together a website and am working on the About Us page, which is only ME! Shall I call myself the owner, president or some other title?

Here are the standard titles used for different business structures:

Sole-P = Owner or Principal
LLC = Managing Member or Managing Partner
Corp = President or CEO

However, these are not set in stone, if you are a sole-p you can call yourself whatever you want. I am a single-member llc and just use "owner".

Personally, I like Mary Engelbreit's term "Queen of Everything", but I don't usually put that on business documents.

I use 'principal'. I guess it's pretty much up to you.

I use Owner, because I'm the owner...

Sole-P = Owner or Principal
LLC = Managing Member or Managing Partner

My company is an LLC but LLCs are also treated as a Sole proprietorships so I feel I can go with either of these listed. I usually go with Owner..sometimes Principle but Manager doesn't have the feel I want at all.

I think I would shy away from manager as well. It gives the impression that you might not have total control over things!

I use owner but that is a good point. I had not thought about it that way.
