Default How Customer Focused is Your Site?
Hello,

Have you fallen into the trap of making your website all about you and how wonderful you are?

To help you answer that question, I have found an interesting tool that provides a free analysis by counting certain words on your site that are key indicators of whether your focus is on the customer or not.

Check out http://www.futurenowinc.com/wewe.htm

How does your site rate?

Woo hoo! Glad to know I'm doing SOMETHING right! Here are my results:

Your Customer Focus Rate: 65.91% (29 customer-focused words)

Your Self Focus Rate: 34.09% (15 self-focused words, and 0 mentions of the Company Name)

You speak about your customers about 2 times as often as you speak about yourself. Excellent!

Thanks for this tool Heather. I tested my site and it shows that my site is 100% customer based. Yeah me! I still have a couple of pages that are 'under construction' but I will run it again when I am finished. Thanks again. This sure makes me feel so much better.

Thanks for this great resource. Both of my sites are in the 60% range which is good but I want 100% like Shannon. Gonna get to work on this.

Your Customer Focus Rate: 61.54% (8 customer-focused words)

Your Self Focus Rate: 38.46% (5 self-focused words, and 0 mentions of the Company Name)

You speak about your customers about 2 times as often as you speak about yourself. Excellent!

YAAAY! NOW I NEED TO INCORPORATE THIS INTO MY SALES PITCH, I GUESS!

Interesting tool. We have several sites and that all ranked well. My customer service policy is on my site and an excerpt follows:

Our customer service goal is not just to meet your expectations, but to exceed them.

Okay, that's not true. Our real goal is to crush them to a fine powder, throwing them under Charon's keel to drift down the River Styx, never to be heard from again. We want your expectations to know they don't hold a candle to the reality we deliver.
