Not sure if these will be helpful at all at this point, but check out the Document Library here for sample templates for both long term and per project situations...if nothing else it may just give you another frame of reference.

On my Services page I have a link to a 'sample' of my contract. It states: View a sample of my Services Agreement outlining in detail the work to be performed, fees, and payment. Each agreement is customized to your needs."

This allows a potential client to see my basic 'terms and conditions' but they also know it will be customized to what they need. It's only two pages and has been more than sufficient.

I have a basic confidentiality page (assuring prospective clients that my services are confidential) and a couple of basic notations about pre-payment for large projects and retainer rate info, but have not posted full details on my site about terms and conditions.

I have a 'terms and conditions' area on my website, but it definitely is not the amount of detail that appears in my Work Agreement document that I have my clients sign. I put it out there so prospective clients would know that I was a serious business person, in hopes that they would be too!

I'm a little freaked now...I only have one contract and it is one page...my attorney looked it over and said it should be fine....is it?

I don't have that on my website. I offer it to clients in the beginning stages of our conversation for their review.

Good insight Rebecka - we need to be aware of protecting our clients interest too.

I'm curious too. When i created my website, it automatically created a terms and conditions page for me. I don't know if it's good enough.

Thanks for this, I also have terms and conditions on my website, but will now be thinking over whether to keep it on there

I have the terms and conditions in my client contract. At the time of signing, I go over the contract in detail so the new client understands how to work with a VA.

As far as SCORE, I have found most of the gentlemen to be "old-school"! :-(
