Default Client Provided Content
My client provided me content via scan in a JPEG! and I was hoping that someone can give me some tips on how to get it into word without re-typing it all. Any thoughts would be great!

The only way that I know is to have the original scanned with OCR capabilities. A JPEG is a picture and therefore you cannot mine the words from it so yes it will need to be retyped.

I would Google JPEG to Word OCR scanner and see what the results give you. One side note, depending on the quality of the image and the size of the text you may be better off to just type the contents since the recognition could be spotty at best.

Thanks. I am going to have to get her to re-scan them so that I dont have to charge her to sit and type it all out! Pain in my Butt!

Try this site: http://www.newocr.com/

It won't be perfect, but it'll be much less work than having to type it all out.
