Being local not required - do I need this on my site?
Do I need to mention on my website that I do not have to be local to be their VA.? I do have the definition of a VA and that I work from my home office. If I need to where would I put it on my site?

While not 100% necessary, it certainly wouldn't hurt to have it on your Web site to further get the point across that you are virtual. Depending on the text, it could go on the Home page or the About Us page.

Hi, I think the more you can "educate" the public about what you do, the better. Most people still do not know what a "Virtual" Assistant is or does. I think spelling it out for them will help them learn.
Re: Being local not required - do I need this on my site?
I think I agree with putting some kind of blurb out there - I have yet to run into someone who understands what I "do". Perhaps it could be in a "how to work with me" paragraph? You'll probably still get questions, but it may help. JMO tho.
Re: Being local not required - do I need this on my site?
I mentioned it on my FAQ page myself. That's kind of my catch-all for things that didn't seem to fit elsewhere but I felt should be said. "What is a VA?" or "Services offered" (or similar) would be good places also.
BTW, if you do decide to include that info, you might also specify whether you're open to working with people in other countries.

I agree that it might be a good idea to mention it somewhere. So many people just don't understand what VA or Virtual Assistant is. For instance, if I tell someone I'm a virtual transcriptionist, they have no idea what that means. But if I say I work from my home office transcribing recordings for individuals and businesses, then they get it (usually!).
