Hi, I have a quick question...

I was doing great until I hit the section in the 3rd HTML class where it discusses linking images. Mine won't work. I tried it in Nvu and in notepad. I typed it myself and copied and pasted from the post (one part of the string cut off the ".com" and I even tried it with the 3 dots and completing the .com). Nothing I do seems to work. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Stephanie - can you please post the code you wrote and we'll see what needs to be tweaked!

Also, not sure if this is part of the issue but we had a look at the archive and there was a link that the forum program had shortened so it wouldn't have worked properly if you'd just copied and pasted - it's been fixed!

OK, I see a few minor things here - one is your image path is not correct - it should end with images/logo/logo.gif
But I think this was because the URL got cut off in the archives - the forum wants to do that to keep links short but it can be a pain in situations like this. Just FYI - if you had clicked that original link with the ... you would have opened the image path and could have copied and pasted that complete URL from there...a little trick for later

One other thing: you also need to close your image tag (highlighted in red below)

It can be hard to catch these little things at first, but as you become more familiar with the basics you'll find yourself correcting this sort of typo very easily.
