Default IE doesnt see all of my site
I work on Firefox and I can see everything I have just fine, but I checked it from IE and half the page doesnt show up. I added code for <!doctype> it helped a little but the whole center section still doesnt show up.. I am by no means done with this site, I have a bunch of stuff to add but I want to get the basics working on IE since tons of people still use it.

I got this template as a CSS free template, I checked the code on a site and it says I have 62 errors... most of the errors are in the code that came with the template...

Shelley - Have you figured it out yet? There's something missing in your code. When a page shows incorrectly in one browser, it's usually that a protocol is overlooked by your usual browser, but insisted upon by another. Know what I mean?

I may be able to help you if you want to send me the code.

What version of IE are you looking at Shelley? I was reading today that the new IE8 isn't showing some blogs correctly and they've got this bandaid "fix" to revert IE8 browsers to IE7 mode on these pages.

If Mary can't help you and you're using IE8 I can get you more information on that.

Hi Shelley

I can see your problem. I'm not sure whether you and Mary may have worked it out in the meantime. I have taken out all the extraneous 'Word' styling and fixed a couple of things which surprisingly reduced your code from 2485 to 286 lines! It seems to work fine now. At least I can see your missing centre column in IE. I will pm you the code

Wow! These ladies are awesome. I had that very same problem when I first launched my site. I had to retype all my content. But I hope you have it all worked out.
