Default How Do You Create This on a Website?
Hi,

I want to create a sign-up box where clients can sign-up for newsletter, e-book, e-course, or article...how do I do that? Is that something your graphic designer creates? And, what program do I use - an autoresponder program? How do I create it where they sign-up and then they received the material automatically?

Also, where do I find the content for that such as "How To Use a VA" or "Sing-Up for our 3 week e-tips to best use a VA" or something like that?

Thank you!!
Stacey

I just did one yesterday. I use Vertical Response and it actually creates the code for you to paste into your website. It's really easy.

Thanks for the reply Julia..so what would happen after the client signs up, they receive the article automatically? How does it work in Verticle Response, you create the article you want, let's say in a .pdf format, once the client responds, Verticle Response automatically sends the article to the client?

No, mine allows people to sign up online and then I get notifications four times a day of who has signed up. When I get those, I will forward the item to them.

There may be a more automatic way to do this, but this is what I do.

I have used http://www.mycontactform.com/ to create forms that email me the information.

If you want to sign your website visitors up to receive a newsletter, ezine, free report, automatically - you might use something like aweber, 1shoppingcart or constant contact. All of these programs will generate the html code that you need to copy/paste into your website code to create the sign up box. How and when your subscribers receive this information is up to you - you create this option when setting up your lists.

Hi there
I don't have a specific answer to your question but I do welcome you to view my site and take any ideas that you need. For me the internet is far too wideranging to be worrying about copyrights so sharing where I can is welcome. My site does have a copyright note on it but I wouldn't mind at all if you checked out http://nzvas.com/WhatsAVA.html and tailored it to your niche. Another suggestion others have had is to list what a VA can do for you in an hour. I don't know how successful these methods are but as long as they are tailored to your niche they should be helpful to your clients.

I agree simple is good too. My site is a bit too wordy for my liking but I am getting there.

Good luck.

Hi Stacey, I thought I would just share what I do to add another idea into the mix. I use WAHMCart for a shopping cart and autoresponder. It's $40/month so you need to be selling at least 1 product to make it pay for itself. Anyway, it has unlimited autoresponders you can set up so that's the feature I really love. When someone signs up for your free guide (for example), the program will automatically send it to them in an email. Or, you could set it up to send something to them in a series of emails, like you mentioned. As I said, it's a big monthly expense but I haven't found any other cheaper autoresponder programs out there. Plus it has all of the other functionality like newsletters and shopping cart.
