Default how to create an opt in form
I want a form on my site where people can opt in to my mailing list. Is there a way to create this form for free?

It would just have a place where people could enter their email into a box and click on it. Can you do this with just html code? Or do you need an autoresponder with a monthly fee?

Try Bravenet. They have a bunch of free options, I've used them for a long time fro my opt-ins.

I use some free code on my site in order for the site to send me an e-mail from my form. The form itself is html, and the code manages the e-mail part. Now to remember what code I used.

Ahhh, here it is. I used FormMail to create the script to send an e-mail to myself with the information from the form.

Thanks! I'll try that one. It is so hard to decide whether paying is worth it, but I don't have enough traffic right now to need extra features.
