Default How to Change a Font Size
I have a wordpress theme that I use. I'd like to change the font as it is too small. I believe I have to change the font size in the CSS style sheet, which I found but do not know where in the style sheet I would do this.

Thank you.

Jan

If you know where the stylesheet for your theme is, just open it and search for "font-size" (no quotes) and you will find the answer.

You can try changing them one by one and see the difference...

I hope this helps

Thanks, yes, I know where the style sheet is but within the sheet there are several areas with word fonts, so the first question is that I don't know which section to change.

Then, I took a chance and changed the font number from 13px to 14px in the style sheet under main but that didn't do anything to change the size of the text I am typing in. So that was wrong.

Wordpress doesn't seem to be set up like Word where you can change the font of text before I post a entry.

I checked a few sources but they don't say where in the style sheet to change the font number under what heading. I just want to make the entries larger in the text I am typing. I don't want to touch the margins or anything else on the page.

Here's the url to the blog I am working on www.yourvirtualwizardblog.com

Thanks so much.

Jan

From your source code I can see that your text editor added a lot of these to your post content:
<span style="font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;">

This is a problem, because it will make anything in your stylesheet that has to do with font-family and font-size ineffective.

The solution to this is to clear the formatting of your posts.

Then find the rule:
#content {
...
}

And change the font-size there.
