If you are a virtual administrator/virtual assistant who also writes code (HTML, DSS, JavaScript, PHP etc.) and you are wondering how many lines of code you wrote, here is a little script that counts them for you

It has options to exclude certain file extensions (jpg, gif etc. by default), certain file names and certain folders (which you didn't write).

Just place it in the root folder (public_html, www etc.) and it will count all the lines of code you wrote for the whole website

This is SUCH a great tool - any of you VA's who are writing code and like to brag (or just keep track of) the sometimes thousands of lines you've written here's a quick and easy way to find out just how many strings you created in that last project.
It's a great way to impress clients - even if they don't understand a stitch of code they seem to love knowing 'this project is X thousand lines of code'!
