Hi there!

I'm looking for a good CSS guide. An online tutorial would be good, but a printed book would be even better. I've tried a few tutorials and gotten nowhere. For some reason, I just don't find it intuitive like basic HTML is. Anyone got a great recommendation to share?

There are a few tutorials you might find useful listed in the industry directory but we also just recently ordered (and love):
"CSS Mastery - Advanced Web Standards Solutions"

It's got the "latest CSS tips, tricks, and techniques.
An in-depth guide to browser bugs, hacks, and filters.
Inspirational case stay projects from two of the world's greatest CSS masters."

We use CSS extensively in our work and although what we do 'works' and works well it isn't always up to the most modern standards so we purchased this book to help remedy that.

We also just rec'd "Transcending CSS: The fine art of web design" and it's *very very* pretty, one of the most beautifully done design/CSS books I've ever seen - but more of a coffee table book; though it does have some good info and inspiration.

Hi AnnaLisa! www.lynda.com has some great tutorials, and several on CSS. Many of them are free, and they do have an option to pay monthly to access their entire library. I did that over the summer and watched every tutorial I could. It's a fantastic deal! Good luck!
