Question Correcting link for my blog page
Hi to all you WordPress gurus - I'm hoping one of you can help me out.

On my website, I set up a custom structure for my WordPress permalinks, as follows:

/%postname%/

This works great for all of my pages except one, my blog page.

For my blog page the permalink shows up as http://www.clockwiseva.com/latest/ on the edit page and on the URL browser - which is what I want. However, any time I use the link for Twitter or Facebook it shows up as the following description:

Latest | | Clockwise Virtual AssistanceClockwise Virtual Assistance

Any ideas or suggestions on how to correct this?

This is because the title of this page is exactly that line, how did you setup this page as your blog page?

As I remember the correct way is to actually create a page and in your settings set it as your blog page...

Please let me know...

Default Re: Correcting link for my blog page
It is a page and is setup as a blog in both the Wordpress settings and the theme Blog settings. I've tried using just one or the other and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

On the actual Latest page I have the following code to display the list of blogs:
[blog count="4" width="630"]

My SEO title is setup in the same way as my other pages: Latest |

Just a thought, do I need to clear my cache each time I make a change, meaning, would the old way of showing the link still be stored somewhere?

I really appreciate you trying to help. I have tried so many changes now I've lost count.

That line of code I suspect is from your theme, WordPress doesn't require that, you can see a tutorial on how to use a custom page as your blog page here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page

So when you choose a static page as your front page, you have the option for choosing a page for "Posts page" which is the same as your blog page.

With that said, like I mentioned, when you want to post to Twitter and Facebook, plugins usually use the title of that page as the default post content, I assume you can edit it, so I would say just edit the text every time or fix change the title of this page so that it's what you like it to be.

I hope I'm making sense and please let me know if I misunderstood your question.
