Default Broken Links?
I am hosting my website through godaddy and I have downloaded Wordpress onto their server to help design my website. I was finished with my website and wanted to review it before I posted it to the forum. To my surprise the links are broken somehow and my Home page is a wreck. In the godaddy forum other people have had this issue, but there has not been a response on how to repair it. I am truly frustrated. I have been working on this website for weeks.

oh no Shante! That is horrible! I know I would feel the same way, if it were mine. Just stay calm! It will be ok...Did you back up your site? That way you can go into the backup and just reload it.

I can feel your pain! My hosting service forum is slow to respond to the issues and questions I have had also.

Back up your site -- how do you do that? I lost my blog yesterday and no I did not back up the site cause I didn't know you could or how to do it!

Shante -- we will overcome these challanges -- we are VAs and that's what we do!!!

Let us know how it goes.

I have used GoDaddy for several years and for several clients and never had this problem. But when I did have an issue I called them and they were SO helpful. I have never not been able to resolve the issue while talking to them.

Hope it works out. Good Luck.

I will call them when I get home today. By the time I realized there was a problem that I couldn't fix it was after hours. I did send an email to technical support.

Back up my site?! Of course I didn't do that. I now know better.

Life is a learning experience. One day you'll laugh at how stressed you were starting out because you're so successful now.

I called Godaddy and they said something happened to my Wordpress install. They said if I reinstalled wordpress and it works my content will show up. I reinstalled Wordpress and it is still not working. This weekend I will start from scratch.

I hope the rebuild went well. I know how frustrating it can be, i have a members site with over 700 members as well as my VA site and it went bonkers on me one day and i had not backed it up, i had to rebuild from scratch. Luckily though the database was not affected or i would have also lost all user data. Number 1 lesson that most of us learn the hard way "BACK UP" lol
