Default ASP Contact Form
Oh My, I am so glad you posted this! I have a question that brings this topic a step further:

I have my form created. The problem I am having is getting the information entered into the form to me (preferably via email), using ASP or a similar server side script. I cannot seem to get it to work...anyone have any resources for this?

I tried using some of the ASP components that are available to me via my web host, but haven't had any luck.

Could you use something like this to get you started?

I don't know anything about ASP but I thought maybe you could start with this form generator and dissect the results to get what you need.

Darlene,

It seems like your web server supports PHP, but to make sure, open your note pad and put this bit of code in it:
PHP Code:
<?php
   phpinfo
();
?>
Save the file as phpinfo.php and upload it to your server.
It should go in the same folder as index.html.

Then point your browser to it (open it in your browser window) and let me know what you see. (yourwebsite.com/phpinfo.php)

If it does then I have a quick and easy solution for you.

Hi Hamid,

I did everything you told me to do and it did not work. I looked more into what my web host server supports, while they do support PHP, the account I currently have does not support PHP only ASP... I am using their "Rookie" hosting package. Apparently their PHP is supported for Rookie accounts for those running Linux not Windows. It was worth a shot though, right??

Thank you very much!

If your web hosting package supports ASP then take a look at this list:
http://www.hotscripts.com/ASP/Script...ors/index.html

Many of these are free and you can use them on your website.
