Default Adding Audio/MP3 to Website

Hi everyone!

I have a client who has asked me to put an mp3 on her website that
automatically starts when someone visits her site and has start/stop
buttons. I downloaded a free program called Website Audio Maker but the
quality of the streaming (I believe that is the term) is very poor and it
cuts her recording off.

Does anyone has a recommendation for something free or really cheap that I
can use to do this for her?

Thank you in advance!

You can always code it using m3u files and host it clean, right on the site. Also, you can touch up her audio if need be with Audacity (free).

I've used audioacrobat before and it was quite easy to use. The link is here . There is a free trial as well. I took a miniclass from Audio Acrobat although I am not sure if they still offer this.

The trial info reads: Risk-Free Trial for 30 Days! Then, a low rate of $19.95 per month. Metered at 5 Gigs of monthly bandwidth and $1.00 a Gig over. Unmetered Disk Storage!

One thing I really liked about this company was the support. Just like Aweber, they have outstanding people on staff that you can reach in a moment's notice and don't have to sit on hold going through voice mail hoops.

Good Luck!

Can't believe I missed this thread!

You can use a Flash based player such as: http://www.1pixelout.net/code/audio-...dpress-plugin/
Although it is a wordpress plugin -- you can add it to an HTML based website and here are the instructions on how to do so: http://www.macloo.com/examples/audio_player/

This is good information! I have a client that asked me the same thing and I had recommended AudioAcrobat. I'll be sure to check in to these others!

Just yesterday Gideon Shalwick and Yaro Starak posted a video showing "how to get audio onto your blog by only using your phone, your computer, and an internet connection." You can view it at their site.

They are talking about blogs here, so not sure if it would work the same on websites. But maybe this might be of interest to some of you out there.
