Just came across this really great FREE transcription software - which in my opinion is better than Express Scribe! I believe it has a better quality of sound.

Thank you for this! I'll look into it. I've had problems with Express Scribe too, and manipulating the special audio processes sometimes doesn't help.

I have used several since I began in 2003. One of my clients sent me the software for the Sony player, but I had to replace my foot pedal three times over the past 6 years. I also had a Gear Player - the old 2004 version, and just updated it for very little money and I really love it.
