I'm in the market for a new pair of headphones/earbuds. Not sure if I want noise-canceling have heard mixed reviews on this feature. I have a pair of Sony MDREX36V earbuds that have worked great for me so far, but feel like I may still be missing some audio. All suggestions welcomed, thanks.
It really depends of the quality of the files you are transcribing and the location in which you will be doing the transcribing. My office is very quiet and I am fortunate to work with good audio files, so therefore, noise canceling is not an issue. However, one day it was particularly noisy outside for some reason and I borrowed my husband's noise canceling headphones and they were amazing. I usually just use little earbuds and don't particularly like the big noise canceling headphones, but they did the trick when I needed them.
