Default Episode 52: Ask the “Write” Questions
This week’s episode focuses on Copywriting. If you remember a few week’s ago, I aired an interview in which I spoke with Allison Nazarrian about writing copy for your business. Well, this time around I speak with Tammi Metzler, of The Write Associate about outsourcing your copywriting to a professional. Tammi and I cover such topics as, why a business should hire a copywriter, how to find a copywriter, questions to ask and items to consider during your initial consultation and more. It should be noted that many of the questions and items that should be considered when looking for a copywriter can be applied to almost any independent contractor you plan on working with — such as a Virtual Assistant.

Hey Darlene,

Thanks again for the interview - it was great chatting with you! And yes, as you mention, many of the tips and techniques can apply to other virtual professionals too, so hopefully even listeners who aren't in the market for a copywriter will get some ideas to use in marketing their own businesses. I love the title, by the way!

Will definitely put listening to this one on my to-do list. I'm sure it turned out great. Darlene, of course, is awesome at interviews and Tammi is a copywriting pro.

I have 'known' Tammi since early days in her business and I always knew she would make a huge mark on the industry - I've also worked with her a bit on some writing projects and she has the most incredible work ethic. It's really neat to hear her 'strut her stuff' in this episode. Great show ladies!

Thank you so much, Tess! Your confidence means a lot to me.

And thanks again for hosting this call, Darlene; I'm very grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts on the importance of results-oriented copywriting for any business. I've been spending a lot of time studying the art of copywriting and effective marketing techniques in recent months, and it's amazing to me what a difference a carefully crafted message can make to a business' bottom line. Truly exciting stuff - thanks for letting me share my enthusiasm!

You know, I must agree with Tess. It was truly great hearing Tammi talk about the topic she is not only an expert in, but passionate about too. I still smile every time I think about hearing Tammi pound her hand on the desk (not sure how many noticed this, but I did), because she was getting so enthusiastic about the information she had to share. In fact, I recall thinking -- you go girl!

It was great having you, Tammi, as a guest and I am happy those that have listened found the show valuable. The one thing that remains a constant throughout this wonderful podcast experience is that the podcast interviews are always fun. Thanks for listening and for being part of the fun.

Oh my goodness, did I really pound my hand on the desk?! LOL I don't remember that! Sometimes I get a little carried away...

Thanks, Darlene - it's always a pleasure chatting with you too!
