Default Virtual Bankruptcy Assistance Training
Good Morning,

I was wondering if anyone has taken the training offered by Victoria Ring for getting started being a Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant. Any feedback? Thanks.

Wow, what a concept, Dionne. Didn't know there was such a thing as Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant. Likely to be a big market there, I would think. Good luck finding info on the training.

She gave a web-based informational meeting today. It seemed very informative. It's so funny I filled out bankruptcy forms for 2 friends in the past years. They couldn't afford to pay attorneys and they both represented themselves. I would've never thought that they were a host of VA's that do this work everyday.

I just wanted to know if someone had success with her training.

I haven't gone through Victoria's training but I did catch part of the webinar last night and as a paralegal in a bankruptcy law firm I can tell you that a LOT of it is paperwork that gets handed off to the legal assistant. And with the bankruptcy process being electronically filed now, doing it virtually makes it very easy for a VA to do as opposed to an in-house assistant.

Its definitely worth looking into and Victoria has some great information on her website.

Hi Dionne! I passed the exam & obtained my AVBA (Accredited Virtual Bankruptcy Assistant) from Ms. Victoria earlier this year & give her training I'm gearing up to start actively marketing to bankruptcy attorneys in the very near future, & feel much more confident having studied her training materials.

Melissa do you truly think the training was worth your time and money? I saw the webinar at the "other" forum back in June and know for a fact that this kind of business and type of work would be right up my alley. I am still on Victoria's e-mail list, and would love to get this certification.....but $$ are tight right now, so want to make sure when I can spend the money, it is worth it. Some of the stuff she has available seems kind of pricey.

Has anyone else done the training or even looked at Victoria's web site/information.......and what are your thoughts?

Thanks!!

Hello,
I am extremely interested in doing this type of work...I am doing other projects similar to this. My apologies if I missed it but can someone post Victoria's contact info and/or web site. Also, what does her course cost and what does it cover?

Thanks

Hi Lorilee. Victoria's website is www.713training.com IE sometimes can't find it that way and brings up a list, and I just click on the one that has the LLC at the end, although you don't actually see the LLC in the url.

Thank you so much for link. This program looks great. I guess my biggest question is for those who have taken it and if they felt it was worth it?? Are attorney's wanting a VA to process bankruptcy paperwork or would they rather have paralegals doing it? This kind of work is perfect for me and I'd love to offer this and wanted to hear from others the good the bad and the ugly to see if it would be worth the investment.

Thanks
LoriLee
