I am researching on offering non-contested divorce forms for Oregon as part of my Virtual Paralegal business. Does anybody have any recommendations for legal software that has the forms all in a bundle? I know software can get spendy. From what I found on the internet you can buy forms that are universal for the entire State.

Any software suggestions for divorce forms?

I know this question is a few months old but might I suggest you search your state or your clients state bar association or the States on-line Courts. This is where I have found sources to download all forms needed for a small fee, if at all. Wonderful tool!!! Each state that you prepare work for will have different requirements. The attorney I work with uses WordPerfect12. Maybe using Log Me In to access your clients forms and software?

Are you offering these forms to individuals or attorneys? If you are offering this service to individuals, I would suggest you contact the State Bar Ethics committee in your state to see if that is included in "practicing law". I cant do that from the state I live in. I was advised that you need to adhere to the state you are residing in and their paralegal rules when you work virtual. I have 2 clients in Florida wherein that is a state paralegals can do a lot of legal documents themselves without supervision. However, any work I perform in that state still has to be supervised.

Just a quick thought. Georgia is a state where paralegals can do a lot WITH attorney supervision. If there is an attorney with whom you have a good working relationship, you may want to grab a few of the easier to do forms, maybe even forms that don't necessarily require an attorney but for which you don't want anyone to think you are acting in lieu of an attorney, such as an uncontested divorce, maybe a simple will, some basic contract forms, and fill out a sample of each, then ask the attorney to comment upon them for you to see if you could fill them out with your clients, and then offer the attorney some kind a deal or break in exchange.

That is very good advice. In the state that I live in, a paralegal can prepare the forms but they have to be reviewed and signed off by an attorney.
