Does anyone use Microsoft Groove with their clients? I signed up for the free trial to try with my partner but it seemed to take a long time for her to download it. I don't want it to be a hassle for our clients and take up too much space on their computers but I think it would be a great program to use in order to limit the amount of emails sent and received. Also, if we invite our clients to join a workspace do they have to have Microsoft Groove too?

I'm curious about Groove also.... does anyone have any feedback on it yet? Would love to know more!

I too am curious to know about Groove. I created a thread asking about different software that VA's should have on their systems. I am trying to gather as much info as I can. Any additional information on this software would be much appreciated!

I use Groove for a couple of different clients. With the trial version you can only create 3 workspaces, however.

If you have the 2007 version, you have to change some settings to accept an invitation from the earlier versions.

It is a great way to keep the current documents in front of you and your client. You can chat, send a message, and collaborate in a seamless way. Along with that, you can keep notes and sync calendars.

IMHO, it was better before Microsoft bought it though; i.e. cheaper.

I use Groove with 5 attorney clients. It is the best way so far that I have found to have a complete, secure, collaboration program. All of them love it. Only downfall is the calendar. Not as useful as Outlook. I recently did a powerpoint on Groove. If you are interested in seeing it, PM me with your email address and I will send it to you.
