Default import/export from one QB to another

I have a client that needs me to enter his reciepts then export the files to him so he can download them to his Simple Start QB program. I have imported/exported from Excel to QB and vice versa, but I have never tried to do it from one QB to another.

I have Pro 2009 and I will be exporting finished files to him (Simple Start) Any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks for any help.

Norma:

There is no exporting needed. You just save the file as a regular QB backup file. When he restores it, he will be able to open it in Simple Start. He will be able to do a lot less to that same data file than you were able to do, but the data will still be there.

HTH!
