QuickBooks Simple Start

I have attempted to download this twice today and for some reason my computer doesnt want to mind. I am using Vista on a dell studio laptop.

Anyone else have a problem with this?

I downloaded it from the Quickbooks site last week and it loaded fine. I use Vista on a Gateway laptop.

Is it downloading and not installing, or will it not download at all??

I started with QB SimpleStart with Vista on a Dell. No problems with the install. Hopefully this will work out for you soon. It is a great (free) way to get aquainted with the basics in QB.

It seems to be the install that is having a problem. I read it can take 20 minutes. It downloads fine but then when I click to install it goes down into the tray on my screen and wont open up. You know how the box should come up and asks if you agree to terms, etc... that doesnt come up... so I am not sure but I will play with it some today.

Thank you for the download site! This is a great way to get started, without having to invest the $$ for the package. I'm sure I'll need to upgrade at some point, but when you're first getting started, these free downloads are a true blessing!

I know why quickbooks wouldnt download correctly, I was on firefox not IE.

Using IE I checked out the online version and decided to use that. The more info I can store online the better so I dont loose valuable data.

I don't know if anyone else has found this, but my free version is already supporting over 30 customers with no problems! I have introduced several customers who are just getting started to this sofware and offered basic accounting training as one of my services. Great exposure for Quickbooks and for me.
