Default Petty Cash Guideline Sample
My contractor is looking for a sample petty cash guideline to follow. Do any of you have one setup that you would mind sharing?

If you mean in terms of a spreadsheet, go to www.virtualofficegoddess.com/book.html and request the sample on the bottom of the page. This will give you a download of my excel spreadsheets that I use for manual tracking, including the petty cash form.

As far as other guidelines, I use a $100 box, never take more than $25 out for any one purchase, if there are no 'formal' receipts, such as for metered parking, I hand-write a receipt with date, location, amount and description of expense and put that in the box. I reconcile the petty cash box and replace what I've used monthly.

Thank you. I was looking for something that could go into a policy & procedure manual.
