Free Bookkeeping Training Course

I have been browsing the internet and came across this site that offers free training for bookkeeping over a 12 week period.

It takes into consideration that you will have clients. I have just signed up to it and have not yet started it but I think it may come in handy for some of us who do not offer bookkeeping but will need it for our own business.

Has anyone used it before and can they tell me what it's like.

I am not recommending it for use if you do not have accounting or bookkeeping experience and qualifications but I think it will help me as I do not know much about bookkeeping apart from accounts received/payable which gets me by. I would not be confident enough to offer it as a service myself unless I had done a proper course and obtained a qualification.

Thank you for this information as I signed up as well. I know I can use this for my own business. Later, as you said also, I might be able to incorporate this into my VA business or atleast have the knowledge if needed for a client.

Wow! This appears to be a great find! Thanks for sharing it. I do taxes during the season (Jan to early April) but I've never had any 'formal' bookkeeping training, and although people like to think it is..these are NOT the same things. I will be trying this as well.

Thanks for the info. For those of you trying it out please report back what you think about it. I hate bookkeeping. The only thing about my job I just don't like doing, and it's because I find it so hard to grasp. I never did like math and always find it complicated and bookkeeping is just that much worse! LOL!

I too, have found the first and second parts very interesting; it has given me an insight into accounting and bookkeeping.

As someone who has tried to shy away from bookkeeping I have found it very informative. It is set out in an easy to follow structure.
