Smile Employee Meals
Hi there ! I'm new here and quite excited about it!
My question: I have a client that has an S Corp. He is a General Contractor and travels to various job sites through out the day. Needless to say, he does not have a "primary" place of business and eats on the go. If the S Corp pays him a salary as an employee, are any of those meals (lunches) tax deductible? how does that work? Thanks in advance for all responses !

The only meals that are tax deductible (and only 50%) are 'working' business meals. For example, he eats out with his accountant and they discuss his year-end taxes over lunch. Or, he meets with a potential client for dinner and they discuss how to work together. He is responsible for his own 'personal' meals and they are NOT tax deductible.
