I use my own excel template. I am a Excel lover and am having difficulty getting myself onto Quickbooks. The intention is there it's just getting everything set up and in there is the problem. Too busy to get around to it. lol

I started out with an Excel invoice with my logo etc, but when I discovered the QB Simple Start free program I changed everything over so it could keep track of all my expenses and invoices automatically. I used one of their invoices, but then added a logo and changed colours etc to make it 'mine'. That reminds me - I've changed my logo, so need to update - thanks for that! QB was just so easy to understand after I had been used to MYOB at my corporate job. It has everything I need. Ok - off to update my invoice! ;-)

I use one of the QB invoice templates downloadable from the Intuit website, then customized with my logo and with a custom footer.

And, Sharon, you're not the only one who loves ZohoInvoice! I use Zoho for my recurring, retainer billing ... hands-off billing, what isn't great about that! And free, too!

I have not gotten that far, since I only have one client. Any advise on which product to purchase in Quickbook? I see that they offer many. I would like one that is simple and easy to work with.

I just signed up for Freshbooks and use their invoices. I added my logo to it for now and it was very easy. Down the road, once I get larger, I will probably switch to QuickBooks and use their invoices (customized) but, for now, this seems to work well for me.

I'm not familiar with that program, I've been using QuickBooks for over 10 years now along with other Intuit products, i.e Quicken and for me it's about familiarity. Good luck.

I use a Freshbooks invoice that I tweaked a bit. It's very professional looking with a remittance coupon.
