Conversion advice from Peachtree to QB Enterprise 9.0

I have a new client who is converting from Peachtree to QB Enterprise 9.0. Has anyone assisted in a conversion such as this? If so, what if any difficulties or clean-up did you have to do? My client has already used the conversion tool from QB but has asked me to look at her books and do any necessary clean up from the conversion. I haven't seen her books yet, and won't for about a week, but wanted to research any common problems with this type of conversion. I am also checking out the QB ProAdvisor site, but was interested to see if any of you had any additional insight for me. Thanks!

Angie, did she print all PT reports before doing this? Hopefully she did (or still has the Peachtree company info to do so). You can use the previous reports before the conversion to compare all reports to the new QB version.

She would need a previous and after conversion: customer and vendor detail lists, General Ledger detail, Chart of Accounts, Accounts Payable and Receivable (including Aged reports), all Payroll reports (including by employee with their info), General Journal, Bank rec...just to name a few.

Actually, I've done it the other way around - QB to PT, , with no problems (they didn't have payroll).

Might I ask why she wants to convert? I love PT way more than QB, but that is just my preference. Have you seen this: http://accountant.intuit.com/product...tool_faqs.aspx for what it doesn't convert? That's why I asked about access to PT files.

Jules- Yes, I have looked at the link at Intuit, but thanks for checking. My client is a looking for the retail capabilities of QB Enterprise as they work with a NON-QB POS that they had previously purchased but that integrates easily with QB not Peachtree. They also needed the Class system to track the many different divisions of the company. I haven't worked in Peachtree for years (does it have a class system)?
