This is a question that comes up all the time. I totally get it, because when I was writing my business plan I tried to research it. There are so many dead-ends and spam sites and marketing coaches!

A virtual assistant is hired as an independent contractor. They work off-site and usually take on administrative, marketing, or social media work. Most experienced virtual assistants have an area of expertise- research, project management, event planning, web design, e-Commerce, scheduling, transcripts, book keeping, and the list goes on. Virtual assistants may also specialize in a certain field like real estate, medical industry, insurance industry, or the publishing industry....

The other day, I encountered a woman who said she does not go to ATMs. It totally floored me. I could not imagine my life without the aid of an ATM. As it turns out, my friend had been a victim of skimming in the past. Have you hear of it? I had not, and even when she explained to me, I was skeptical. Perhaps I was not ready to reanalyze my financial habits and change my behavior. Apparently, there are false-front pieces that can be attached to an ATM to collect your card and PIN information. Sometimes your card will be given back so you do not realize that you have been scammed at first, other times your card is not given back...
