Wow, where do I start. Virtual Assistants Forum (VAF) has helped me and my business in so many different ways. Sometimes, I must admit that after two years I often take for granted the value of this wonderful forum and its members.
With VAF I now have a board of directors to aid me in running my business. They are there to run my brainstorming ideas by, or to critique my brochures, elevator speech, website or press release. Tess has saved me many hours with the wonderful resources in the Document Library. The social groups have helped me to expand my horizons and get out of my comfort zone. The free chats and Darlene's podcasts have been a great help in growing my business. Now let's not forget Andrea and The Virtual Entrepreneur (TVE)...

Here are some of the things I am doing and some that are works in progress.

How do you drive people to your website or blog?If you own a online business this is the question that is uppermost in your mind each and every day. Website traffic can make or break your business.

The meeting it was such a great thing. Possibly because I just couldn't decide who to meet so I invited them all.
There was my Dad at 16 fighting for the right to go to a special school for the blind and deaf. My grandparents didn't understand then why it was so important to him. For me to understand how even at the age of 16 his need to learn gave him strength to leave his family and go live with strangers. This is probable what gives me that wanderer spirit.
My grandmother, what a woman, she lived through so much. From the horse and buggy to seeing men go to the moon. Now that I have grandchildren there are so many questions I have for her. How did it feel when she saw her first car? Did she really...
