For me to understand how even at the age of 16 his need to learn gave him strength to leave his family and go live with strangers. This is probable what gives me that wanderer spirit.

My grandmother, what a woman, she lived through so much. From the horse and buggy to seeing men go to the moon. Now that I have grandchildren there are so many questions I have for her. How did it feel when she saw her first car? Did she really...
