Thumbsup Would a mentoring, internship, coaching or training program benefit most?
In one of my other posts I talked about planning an event. I would really appreciate feedback from you subcontractors. If you would be able to participate in one of the above which would you pick to better yourself most.

Remember this is your personal opinion. I'm just trying to get a feel for what subcontractors are in need of most.

I would love to be in a mentor or internship type of group. I am currently working with a local business coach to help me networking to grow my business. It is based on the Get Client Now! book. Since I am a newbie, working with another experience VA would be very helpful. Thanks for thinking of these options!! Janet

A mentorship or internship would be most applicable to my needs and interests as a new VA who wants to subcontract simply for the learning opportunity that cannot be picked up by reading, researching, etc.

I'd like an internship program or maybe even some type of graduated apprenticeship program.

I would think a mentoring program would be great, because I hate the feeling of re-creating the wheel!

All of the options are of interest for VAs at varying stages of their business. But I would help and/or participate in any of the options offered.

I've read on one of the forumns that seasoned VAs have been burned by subcontractors. That makes it more difficult to subcontract or even be an intern.

I took a training with mentoring program and loved it. I still consider her my mentor. I just started this past week taking an internship program. I think both are great. The advantage to internship programs is you get the benefit of training and mentoring and instead of paying for it you work it off. It's a great trade I think if the program is a good program. My first program was excellent, and I am just starting my second program, but so far it's great!

I believe any intern or training program its what you put into it yourself too.

Absolutely Collette! It definitely depends a great deal on how much you into it.
