Default What type of subcontractors are few and far between?
For all you contractors or multi-VA firms!!

There are so many VAs out there offering to help. What is that one thing you would love to have another VA take off your hands. You try but you just can't find anyone with the expertise? Or even credibility?

Great question Collette!

As a multi-VA firm, my greatest challenge when finding a subcontractor is real estate knowledge (expertise). Since I only do real estate, this is important. I get inquiries from interested VAs that want to learn real estate and offer their services, but many do not know the basic terms/process. I don't have time to teach basics of real estate PLUS the task.

As a multi support firm, we have a tough time finding other subcontractors that have design expertise. It's not that easy getting past my standards...hmmm maybe that's the problem. We like to offer the best and if it's mediocre...it just won't cut for me. So, that's the hardest on our end.

My business is growing in Telesales - finding VAs for subcontracting who have Telesales not Telemarketing experience and truly enjoy this work is a challenge.

As this area of expertise requires dedicated work hours during regular business hours is also a requirement to schedule and cover client needs.

I, too, would like to know the difference between telesales and telemarketing. I don't believe I've ever heard the term.

Training a subcontractor would be a daunting task. I wouldn't want to have to deal with that.

But I think the starting question of "which type of subcontractor is few and far between" is a great one! This will let us know what we are up against as time goes on.

Does anyone ever need a sub with bilingual German/English language skills? I can't figure out how or if there is a way to post my services on the forum. Would I go to RFP? Any one know?

TELEMARKETING IS: A service that generates interest, creates opportunities, provides information, factors customer feedback, makes appointments and produces leads by telephone.

TELESALES IS: A service that sells your products or services directly to the customer by telephone.
