Default Various subcontracting services you can offer
This is a biggy now that everyone is getting into newsletters. The laws are strict so get familiar with them. If anyone has a good resource to read up on opt-in laws, please share.

Some of the software to get familiar with for opt in lists are Constant Contact. If you have other ideas what's involved in managing opt in emails let us know.

Default Article Writing for your contractor VA
Some VAs, like myself, have no desire to write but need content for their site. If you have a knack for coming up with ideas this may be for you. Any other ideas what you could write for other VAs?

Default Profile Manager for your contractor
Social networks are exploding. They can really consume time and are extremely important for anyone to get exposure. Just to belong to a social network doesn't cut it. It's really important to have a full completed profile. This in itself could be full time to keep a contractors profile up to date.

What else do you do as a profile manager? Anyone offer this now?

Default On Newsletter Creation for your contractor
Newsletters are huge. One of previous projects of opt in management can go hand and hand with this project as well. A good newsletter can be time consuming and need creativity. If a contractor has different aspects of business they may want a couple newsletters being sent out through the month.

Has anyone ever worked on audio newsletters? There has been talk of this but I myself have not heard one yet.

Default Logo Creation as a subcontracting service
If a VA doesn't have a knack for graphics it's great to have a fellow VA create a logo. This is one I've subcontracted myself. If you can create logos you can probably assist with ebook covers and other product promotion items as well.

It would be fun if we share each other's logos. Watch for the post to do so.

Default On offering transcription as a subcontractor
From a contractor's teleconference to their podcast series you can take the audio files and transcribe into a Word document. This way they can use that content in an e-book or a special report in their business later on.

Is there anyone out there that stays busy subcontracting these services now?

Default SEO Manager - a service you can offer as a sub
Help increase traffice to a contractor's site and improve search engine optimization by adding a blog. Train yourself how to become well versed in various blogs including Wordpress, Blogger and TypePad. This could help set them apart from other VA firms without the hassle of learning SEO tasks themselves.

How many of you subs concentrate soley on SEO? Does this keep you busy?

Default Email Correspondence on behalf of your contractor
Hopefully a VA have lots of emails they have to reply to. This is not revenue generating but a good sign of being busy. So why not hire a subcontractor to correspond. Remind the contractor that you're not taking the personal relationship away if you correspond to their contacts as an assistant.

The contractor could have certain emails automatically be sent to you. How else could you handle taking on their correspondence?

Default Affiliate Manager as a subcontracting service
If a VA has an affiliate program having an affiliate manager that knows the ropes is the key. I've found some great resources on learning affiliate systems.

Does anyone here manage their own affiliate program now? Share with us some of the detailed tasks that are involved in being a manager.

Default Serving as a Press Release Creator for your contractor
If you have a background in public relations, prepare press releases and submit it to online press release services. This can be very time consuiming for a VA but yet extremely important to get their name out. This way you're giving a view from a neutral point of view.

Any tips on writing press releases or tools to do so?
