I agree with Bridie...from personal experience. Make sure you have agreements in place and follow the same guidelines you would with any client/subcontractor. AND make sure you enforce it...from both sides!

It is important to always have agreements and guidelines in place. It's a tough decision when doing business with friends.

Sure wish there was a LIKE button here! I just saw this on Twitter and wanted to add my 2 cents.

I liked this comment "Desperate times call for desperate measures. Is she really up to running a business or is she just filling a void while unemployed?"

Be leery and find out all you can before engaging..not sure due to the age of this post if you pursued or not. There are a lot of benefits to subbing out and I hope you had a positive outcome from this.

I agree with the posts above. Do not mix personal life with business.
I also get friends interested in what I am doing, but I believe your personal friends
will have higher expectations from you even when you are right
