Default Referral Fee Contract
Yikes - I have someone that I can refer out to my client - because of certain things I don't want to work this as a subcontract, but I would like to have a referral fee for any work this VA does with my client.

She has already agreed via email, but obviously I need a contract and have no idea where to find one!

If anyone could direct me, I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you,
Candy

Candy,

I googled 'referral fee contract' and found this free document. Perhaps you can modify this to meet your terms and copy to your company letterhead.

I've worked before using the referral fee method and have had great luck with it. If you have someone you can trust, this works out fine.

Hi Candy,
The link sent by Janine is a good example of a simple referral agreement, just adjust to your needs.

Good luck with your partnership.

Thank you all! Do you usually get a one time referral or do you feel a referral fee for any work done for you client is referral fee-worth?

One-time fee.

If it was a fee for any referral work the person did, then it wouldn't be a referral; that would be considered subcontracting. You would collect an ongoing percentage of what the VA charged the client.
