Default Independent vs Employee
Hi everyone!

As an aspiring VA, I am trying to take a look at all of the opportunites that may come my way. One thing I've noticed is that this is a business where you can be your own boss and subcontract if needed. (I love that idea!) Or, you can work directly under another VA in his/her own business and have tasks assigned to you. I am looking to see if anyone has done this and if so, what were the pros and cons of it. Thanks!

Laura

Because I work FT outside the home I have choosen to work under VAs and have projects assigned to me. You're in the right spot if you want to learn how to become a subcontractor.

Collette is being quite humble. She is the head of the VA Subcontractor's Road To Success group and you can learn quite a bit from her. My first month on the VAF was in her group and I learned so much. Check out the group here.

She will lead you in the right direction and help you work out if being a Subcontractor is right for you.
