Default Event Planning as a subcontracting service

All of us are extremely busy trying to set up our own schedules. Contractors should outsource this task quicly because it can be time consuming and draining. Even trying to find guest for podcast shows may be a possible event planning tasks.

How else can you be an event planner? Would it just be dates or locations too?

Depends on how you define event. If a trade show is an event, then they may want help coordinating printed items, booth set-up, getting banners or swag for attendees, etc.

If the event is an annual meeting, they probably have the dates in mind and a general idea of timeline, and want you to fill in the blanks, get any necessary printing done, nametags, event logos, etc.

It's relatively easy to become a Certified Event Planner, and there are classes in many metropolitan areas (not sure of the cost, though). Oh, and you have to pass the test.

One task that could be easily subbed is contact with exhibitors/speakers prior to the event, and then follow-up afterwards. This could be emails, welcome/information packages and thank-you letters/feedback requests.

Since my podcast series scheduling experts has been very time consuming. Even though it's a podcast I would still consider this to be an event I could outsource tasks for as well. Be sure and think outside the box when trying to subcontract.

I do all aspects of event planning for some of my clients, from researching classes to help one start a new venture all the way through who can make duplicate keys for the lady who's feeding his cat, to arranging for all of his transportation until he returns home.

My clients like to know that all they're going to have to do is show up and things are going to run smoothly.
