I am was just wondering for those who's already established VA do you think you could actually offer, say an apprenticeship for newbies like myself...Just to know about the business more and hopefully be one of you guys
I would def look at this in the future.
I myself when I first started working started in a Traineeship in Business Administration, and there began my career. Since then it has encouraged me to complete other certificates that I think are vital in any industry these days.
A traineeship is a great way to not only earn certifications but get the 'on the job' experience.
Excellent question. I wish there were programs like that, sort of an internship or apprenticeship where you can learn the ropes and gain some confidence.
Marta, maybe you can try to get an experienced VA to sub work out to you. Perhaps start you with smaller tasks and responsibilities and depending on how that goes they may want to give you more challenging responsibilities.
How would you go about doing that Carlana? I thought groups like this frowned upon contacting members for work? I wouldn't want to upset anyone or bother anyone that wasn't interested.
There is a Classifieds section you can use to promote your services here. Otherwise, this thread cuts it very close with forum terms. Do not solicit work anywhere on the boards other than in the Classifieds section.
