Just wondering if there is any interest for a NJ Getaway sometime next year. Going to post a poll for it. Would like to include a boating expedition, Atlantic City casinos/shopping outlet stores, AC show, beach day and possibly a chartered bus trip to New York City. If there is interest by enough VAs, I would be willing to coordinate and organize all the arrangements needed. Enough people may even quality us for a hotel discount. Would appreciate knowing how you feel about this idea? Also please indicate which month you prefer.

We live in Florida, but spend a week with our family in Avalon each summer. I'd definitely be interested in meeting other VAs on the east coast. Not so interested in Atlantic City, but would love a day on the beach. The ocean is cold at the shore in the beginning of the summer, so shoot for later July or August. Put me on the list! And thanks for organizing.

I will definitely be heading back east at some point next summer. If I can coordinate dates, I may be able to attend this too. I haven't been to AC or Cape May for years!

I voted yes and thought perhaps July...simply because I know if VAs from around the US wanted to come...August would be difficult because school starts in August for a lot of states.

I forgot to choose an actual place and so I am casting my vote for Cape May.

I have never been to NJ... I would be interested if my finances are better than this year. I was laid off from my job and money is very tight.... hopefully I will get enough clients between now and then to afford a weekend trip... wahoo...

If you have never been to NJ, you really are in for a treat. I am only saying this because there IS a lot here to do! From beaches almost in every town, fabulous shopping, to Atlantic City shows & casinos. You can't run out of things to do here. Plus New York is only 2 hours away from AC. I personally like boating & shopping and of course nice restaurants. Hopefully we will get enough people interested where some discounts may be given for food and hotels. Time will tell...
