Default Minnesota - based REVAs ??
Hello ~

I would love to connect with a REVA based in Minnesota, preferably in or near the Twin Cities - either Minneapolis or St. Paul, MN or a suburb of the Twin Cities. I would love to hear what the reception for REVAs has been from local RE agents.

If anyone with EXPERIENCE doing REVAs in Minnesota is on this forum, I'd be willing to spring for coffee, or perhaps even lunch, in exchange for the opportunity to pick your brain and learn from your experiences.

IMHO, Minnesotan's, as a general rule, don't "shift gears" too quickly - so I am wondering how many established RE agents, Realtors, in MN are receptive to the concept of utilizing a REVA to enhance and improve their RE businesses. For someone who has been doing this for awhile here in Minnesota, has there been a noticeable shift in an awareness of the option of utilizing a REVA over the past few years?

I talked with an older friend, someone from a church I used to attend, who has been a Agent with - can we name company names here? - well, I'll just say he is with the Minnesota Agency which is named for the perceived-to-be prestigious, old-money, suburb located just southwest of Minneapolis.

Anyhoo, this Agent, who has had a successful career, was pretty poo poo on the entire concept of utilizing a REVA. But this guy is now in his late early 60s and he's semi-retired... perhaps he just doesn't want to shift gears. Funny thing is, the "gal in his office" takes care of his online presence and he seems to know very little about what is entailed in listing a property online. He is one of those agents who has operated, for years now, on repeat and referral business.

I am early in my business writing process, so I am thinking I just haven't dug deep enough into the local Agent/Realtor market as of yet... and as I will, hopefully, find more awareness of local agents to the benefits/advantages of utilizing the services of a REVA.

If not, I guess I guess my work is cut out for me - I will need to focus my local marketing efforts on first and foremost EDUCATING local agents/Realtors on what a REVA can do for them. So be it.
