Are you still in Springfield, MO?

Your post mentioned you were just there for the winter, but your profile still indicates you are in Springfield so Im wondering if you extended your stay.

I am by Ft. Leonard Wood, which is about 2 hours from Springfield.
I would be willing to drive to Springfield for a meet-up.

Like you, I also spent most my life in California and have not enjoyed experience the REAL winters the rest of the nation has! I lived in Maryland about 2 1/2 years and also Missouri for about a year 1/2. I enjoy travelling and experiencing new places, but come winter... theres not a moment that San Diego isnt on my mind! Now thats its been a few years though, I find I have adjusted somewhat, I am not AS much of a wimp as I was at first. I once thought 60 degrees was too cold, now.. now I am happy when its 60 degrees! =)

I'm still in Springfield. Have been delayed due to problems with family and friends here locally. Was just in Salem a few weeks ago.

Would love to meet up with you. I too think about San Diego all the time. Although it's too expensive to live out there and things have gotten much worse of late, I still truly miss the place. Winter here was nothing like I've lived through in the past in Michigan and Colorado, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed it much, LOL.
