Does anyone know of any meet-ups in The Netherlands area? I'm willing to travel to Germany/Belgium within reason as well. Would love to join in and meet a few people in person.

It looks like theres not so many VAs in Northern Europe. I live in Norway and I have seen someone frem Denmark here.
And how is the market where you live? I still strugle so any clever suggestions are great!

PS Ellen, your english is great! I am new too and trying everything to find more clients and opportunities. I am putting a lot of effort into making sure that everyone I know, knows what I am up to - and I am confident that each positive lead will lead to another and so on. Bon chance!

Thank you DonnaFrance. I am talking to everybody about what i do, so hopefully someone will feel that i am the right person for the job!
I am now waiting for someone to contact me, after i gave them information. But it is still too eraly to call them again.

I looked at your website and i fell in love with the house. It looks so great and peacful.

Thank you - that is the best picture of my house, taken last summer... it is a bit of a mess from the other side

Let's try to keep this thread going for awhile and see how many Europeans we have... I don't know all the workings of the site yet, but we should be able to set up a group or something?

It's so good that you all answered my post. We should definately do something about it. What - I don't know yet, but let's have a think............ I've just accepted my 2nd job so am really excited!

Ellen - In answer to your question about how the market is over here - So far all my jobs have come from the UK. I've really been targetting English speakers so have been looking in England and the US for work.

Lovely house Donna. I'm about an hour and a quarter from Antwerp, how about you? Maybe that's somewhere we could arrange a meet-up.

Thinking, waiting and hoping there are others from Europe here. Guess there are some from the UK here. Since the market for VAs are expanding!?

Good luck with your second job

Think I actually got my second today, but both of them are only some hours a month. But its a start.

Have any of you heard about EUMA (European management assistants)? I consider joining them for networking and spreading tha VA-business. Mybe benefint form others maketing the VA-business. I would like to hear your thouths about that!

I'm glad you all found each other. If you can't find local networking groups maybe you can create your own and share your ideas on marketing and gaining clients in that part of Europe. You have the self promotion part of marketing working which is very good. Keep it up.
