Default Australian VA's
Hi!

Would love to contact and network with Va's here all over australia. It would be great even just to get a contact group going, that can share support with each other for our country, as ive noticed a lot of events e.t.c are US based.
Lookign forward to getting to know some more Aussie's!

Hi Mandee, if you do a search here you will find quite a few Aussie VAs. I know many VAs in the various states who do get together and I believe there's a QLD group meeting soon - I'll see if I can find the details for you.

Re the Events - many events are online but there are some onsite ones too. I'm flying to Canada next week to attend the Forum on Virtual Assistance but that is a first-off for me.

Good to meet you!

Hi,
I'm from the Gold Coast - I haven't actually started my VA business yet but am very keen to get things started. I am doing a few jobs from O-desk between my normal work but would love to be a full time VA.
I'm keen to hear from other in Oz!
Carol

Hi guys!

It's so exciting to see fellow Aussie's on here! I'm Aiselade from Sydney (Kellyville) NSW (Hi Megan! I just read you are from Sydney as well!)

I'd love to network with you guys - perhaps we can all add each other on facebook, linkedin or twitter? You can find me here:

Twitter: http://twitter.com/askyourva
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/aiselade.dionisio
LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/aiseladedionisio

I'd love to meet more fellow Aussie VA's as my business is growing and would love to have some subcontracting VA's to come on board, and working with fellow Aussie's would be great!

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of setting up my Facebook, Twitter etc so will add you as soon as they're all up and running.

I was hoping I could ask you guys some questions, as you seem to be quite established - I'm just about to begin ...

I'm in the process of deciding whether to give up my job and get stuck into a VA business - I have a PR & Marketing background so would probably focus on that, but offer all admin services too.

Nobody I know is a VA and I'd love to know if there is a good market for this in Australia. Do you mind me asking if you get a lot of work? And is it mainly from local businesses or Australia/world wide?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Carol

Hi ladies,

I'm also from Australia, and yes, it's great to see so many of us here!

Carol, in answer to your question, I'm sure there will be others more experienced and better able to answer your question. I'm also in the very initial stages of my business. I have a friend also in the business who gets an amazing amount of work and has often passed jobs onto me, when she can't get to them. I guess it depends on many things, but there is definitely a huge market here. I also believe it's getting bigger and bigger, due to the current economic conditions.

Good luck with your business, and I look forward to catching up with all of you!
