Ah, gamble alot? We were in Laughlin back in January. My parents were visiting from NJ so I drove up them up there so they could compare it with Atlantic City. (note: there is no comparison, they weren't impressed. Maybe because they didn't win any moohla).

Anyhow, I live in Queen Creek, which is in Pinal County. 1 hours SE of Phoenix, 1.5 hours NW of Tucson.

Sounds like you are excited to move up to Washington! Congratulations.

No actually, we don't gamble at all - my parents winter here and since we hadn't seen them for the four years we were in India, etc. we decided to take a house near them for the season (we just got back to the States in October).

I'm not impressed with Laughlin either...to tell you the truth.
I grew up in Seattle - it's hard for these little desert towns to compete with the beauty of the northwest.

Well, if you're up for cruising over our direction I'd love to meet up with you! I'm pregnant and getting bigger by the day so long car trips are not on the menu for me this time around

I am actually visiting Prescott a week from today. There is a IVAA get-together of sorts, and I would love to see what that's all about.

Sounds like you live an exciting life. I take it that business brought you to India. How far is Prescott from Bullhead City?

I went to India on a whim and liked it so much I came back to the States and sold everything I owned then went back to live on the beach
I ended up meetng my husband (he's from Iran) about a year and a half later - we got married there and stayed in that part of the world moving from country to country while we waited on the visa paperwork.
I started my practice from India after I ran out of my travelling money but wanted to stay with my darling

I'm afraid I don't know where Prescott is

Just joined this site this afternoon and was perusing all thats here and saw your thread. How cool, you're in Queen Creek. I lived in Power Ranch a couple of years ago. We're now living outside of Maricopa. I'd love to get together with you!

I am in Laveen, AZ. That is Southwest Phoenix. My parents live in Queen Creek about an hour west of there and we plan on moving out that way in the next few months. I would love to be in touch with a fellow VA in the neighborhood.

Let's work on getting together in the near future.

That's great! I would loke to get together someday. How long have you been a Virtual Assistant? I started my business in March and am still making changes to my site and marketing tools.

Glad you found me. As you can see from this thread, there is also another person from this side of Arizona. It would be great to meet up with the both of you. Maybe we can have some marketing meetings to find out what has worked and what isn't working.
