I know, France is massive, but I was wondering whether there are any VA's kind of local to me... I am in Vienne (86) and was thinking about setting up a Jelly event.

What is Jelly?
Jelly's a casual work event where everyone's invited. It's for anyone who'd like to work alongside other creative people in a welcoming environment
Some Jellies are in people's homes (that's how it started), others are in coffee shops and businesses. You bring your laptop and some work, and Jelly provides wifi, a table and chairs, and smart people to bounce ideas off and collaborate.

There is a Jelly group in Languedoc-Roussillon but it's a bit far for me to travel, so that's why I was considering setting up something myself. It's not just for VA's, so if there isn't anyone nearby, I'll have to reconsider and find some 'other' work from home people to join in.

Hi Jo I'm not in France but wanted to suggest the following:

If you want to track down and touch base with the other members who are located in France, jump over to the Member Introduction forum and use the 'Search this forum' option on the inside right corner (inside the Member Intro forum itself, not the main search menu at the top of the site, though that might work too to do this...) and search for 'France' - you'll get a list of all VAs who've introduced themselves from that country and then you can PM them or navigate to their websites to get in touch.

Also, you might check the member-run Groups here at VAF for French VAs.
