Thank you, Pam for all the insights. I'm good with administrative work, but I've never been one to market myself. I can see that I'm going to have to make major changes to let people know what I can do for them. Seeing that you've done it, I know that I can follow in your footsteps.
Nice thought about the foot pedal - I've been doing paralegal work rather than secretarial work lately, but I'm betting that with the marketing I'm doing the transcription will be coming back to me, and I really never minded doing it.
I hope that a year or two from now I can credit you with being one of my positive influences.

Great interview and good information! I too am a local chamber member and our first business event is April 1-2 at the new elementary school in town. We believe many will attend because so many are interested in what the new school looks like inside! Your office sounds wonderful, birds, lake -- alligators too! Thanks for being interviewed and for all you shared.
